Anderson County is an independent film based on the true 1951 murder of East Texas game warden Gus Engeling by Alton Paris, filming in and around Palestine, TX, throughout 2025-2026. Directed by Gary Parker and produced by Chris Seagler, the drama explores the lives of both families affected by the incident.
