"Bench Show" is a type of dog show where dogs are placed on benches for judging and evaluation. These shows focus on a dog's conformation, meaning their physical structure and appearance.
Practice Makes Perfect
Our Dogs bench show throughout their entire lives. We start them as tiny babies at 5 weeks of age and bench them weekly to continually evaluate conformation and structure to help us choose which pups we will keep for our breeding programs. Any Stable Solid Surface Can Be Used as a bench!
Lots of our beautiful dogs go to pet homes and never see a bench again, but they always remember!
Building Muscle Memory
Benching a dog allows it to build correct muscle Memory for standing in a conformationally correct way. This helps you to see the outline of the dog. We all love showing dogs on the bench!
